In oil gathering stations of OGPD named after “H.Z. Taghiyev” and “Absheronneft”, an oil-gas-water-sand separator is installed for initial separation of oil, gas, water and mechanical admixtures. Carried out observations and experiments justified that qualitative initial separation of oil, gas, water and mechanical admixtures is provided due to the output of wells operated with sucker-rod pumps that enter an oil-gas-water-sand separator via casing string, but relevant separation is not provided from the output of wells operated by an airlift method as there is a great amount of free air-gas mixture. Free air-gas mixture should be separated from liquid and an incinerator installed for emulsion breaking with a view to increase qualitative separation of oil, gas, water and mechanical admixtures in an oil-gas-water-sand separator via output of wells operated by an airlift method.
