Modification of polyisobutylene by acrylonitrile and vinyl acetate in the presence of a catalyst
F.A. NovruzovaGraft copolymerization reaction were carried out by increasing the activity of low molecular free radicals in the presence of AlCl3 and AlEtCl2 (dihloretilaluminium) catalysts reactions. Reactions of modifications of polyisobutylene with vinyl acetate and acrylonitrile of catalysts were analyzed. The polymerization and modification of polyisobutylene by graft copolymerization reaction were implemented in polymer-monomer and polymer-oligomer systems. For the modification of isobutylene, a diagram of formation of active centers is presented. The conditions to prevent the formation of homopolymers and graft monomers are shown and optimum regimes for reactions justified. It was defined that to obtain polymeric materials with useful properties it is necessary to introduce the segments containing nitriles and polar groups into the copolymer macromolecules. Copolymers and materials obtained on the basis of modified polyisobutylene and on their composition are easily to process and as a rule have high level of steadiness.
