The definition of performance of multi-hole horizontal well operated in multi-layered heterogeneous formation

SalavatovThe hydrodynamic issue solution of fluid and gas flow to the multi-hole horizontal well operated in the multi-layered formation with different thickness and permeability coefficient via application of a new so-called “equivalent reservoir” method has been considered in the article. Knowing that at low Reynolds numbers the Darcy law with sufficient accuracy is applicable to the fluid and gas movement in a porous medium, on the basis of well-known formulas of fluid and gas flow to the wells, an opportunity of obtaining corresponding formulas of fluid and gas flow to the analogical wells has been found. The formulas of fluid and gas flows to the triple-hole horizontal well operated in three-layered formation have been obtained.
