Application of liquid crystals as stationary phase in vapor-phase chromatography in the analysis of organic compositions
M.N. AliyevaLiquid crystals were used as stationary liquid phase in vapor-phase chromatography. For efficiency increase of columns and symmetry of chromatographic zones were applied capillary columns. Isomeric compositions of aromatic hydrocarbons and derivatives of sulphur-containing organic compounds, which are the products of additive synthesis, have been analyzed. Retention time, asymmetry coefficient and height of equivalent theoretical tray of analyzed compositions have been calculated. Obtained data show practicability of water vapor wide usage for the analysis of organic compounds with high polarity and low thermal resistance.
