A new method for definition of gas reserves in gas-condensate fields via material balance

JafarovThe paper considers the material balance for calculation of gas reserves in net gas fields based on the dependence between formation pressure and gas capacity sampled in defined development periods. The method is based on the definition of initial gas reserves according formation pressure decrease. The necessity of another approach application considering the condensate capacity in gas phase in the calculation of gas reserves in gas-condensate fields is proven. It was defined that the accounting of condensate production in gas phase leads to the gas reserves increase, especially in significant values of condensate yield.
