The data of signed world contracts on gas turbine supplies, as well as issues and priorities of major gas turbine installation segments, such as oil and gas industries, large energy-intensive production unions and etc. are considered in the paper. The samples of main criterion for the modern energy means are defined: high efficiency of primary energy, ecology, reliability of optimum exploitation expenditures and etc. In the view of limited reserves of natural gas, the alternative of fuel for the developers of gas turbine installations on research on combustion of gasified coal in the combustion chambers are provided. The list of countries, where these research works conducted is also provided.
