The oil-soluble A-9 agent with a complex of surface-active properties was studied to apply for selective isolation of water influx in oil wells. The paper presents the main physical-chemical properties of A-9 SAA and the results of investigation on its influence the rate of capillary wetting in porous medium with inhibited oil in comparison with the activity of naphthenic oil acids.
