The ether was synthesized on the basis of the natural oil acid and benzyl alcohol in 1.0:1.2 ratio in the presence of nano-TiO2 (PC-500) and ion-liquid catalyst. The investigation results showed that when using nano- TiO2 (PC-500), the reaction proceeds at the temperature of 110-120 оС during 15-16 hours. The yield of ether in this case is 85.5 %. In case of ion-liquid catalyst appliance, the yield of ether reaches 85-90 % at the temperature 80-90 оС and in reaction duration of 3-4 hours. The physical-chemical properties of synthesized ether were defined via spectral and analytical methods. Obtained ether can be used in the industry as diesel fuel additive, etc.
