Comparative characteristics of lithology and reservoirproperties of Guneshly and Kapaz field rocks

The article considers the regularities of changes of lithofacies characteristics and bulk filtration properties of Low Pliocene rocks from Productive (PS) to Red Series (RS) on the example of Guneshly (shallow water) and Kapaz fields. It is shown that sand content, porosity and permeability decrease in this direction and their carbonate content increase. Such kind of changes in the rock properties considering also changes in their color is largely due to the various feeding provinces in their formation differing by lithofacies and mineralogical composition.
