The legal basis of Azerbaijani model of economic development in the Constitution of Republic

The paper considers the necessity of the establishment of the first Constitution of independent Azerbaijan, its significance in political, strategic and social-economic life of the Republic. After gaining political independence, Azerbaijan began to conduct its independent policy in the economic sphere and developed own national strategy using rich energy resources with the aim of providing economic stability of the country integrating to the world market. Well-conducted political, strategic and social-economic policy according to the terms of the Constitution is directed to the rising of living standards and social defense of the citizens.
