The improvement of quality of lube fractions from Absheron field oil
A.F. ShahverdiyevaAbsheron field oil was dispersed into the narrow fractions from the boiling point to 3000 C, then the ones above 3000 C were compounded with obtaining 3000 to 5000 C distillate oil. The high content of polycyclic hydrocarbons in Absheron naphthenic lube oil adversely affects the viscosity index. To convert the structure of hydrocarbon oil fractions of Absheron field a two-stage hydrocracking on the unit of experienced plant with participation of Al-Ni-Mo industrial catalyst was carried out. After the hydrocracking the lube oil chemical composition changes – the amount of aromatic hydrocarbon circles and carbon in the aromatic structures decrease. The lube oil obtained in the result of hydrocracking and selective treatment satisfies the requirements of API II group oils.
