The characteristics of non-additive processes in the blend of high-viscous and light oils

The paper presents the physical-chemical properties (density, viscosity, resin, asphaltene and paraffin content, coke volume, etc.) of blends of oils from Shirvan and Surakhany fields in the ratio of 24 and 11 %. The amount of individual oils, as well as the volume of resulting blend of oils have been measured. The results of investigation on influence of different oil blends and their quality indexes have been analyzed. It is shown that while mixing oil occur various processes that are followed with non-additive changes of volume, resin and coke.
