Temperature-concentration dependence of retention parameter for organic compounds in vapor-phase chromatography

The paper presents the results of research on the dependence of retention parameter in homologous series for normal paraffinic hydrocarbons, alcohols and aromatic hydrocarbons on the molecule carbon atoms in the conditions of vapor-phase chromatography in the pair of n-hexane and ethanol. It is shown that the logarithm dependence of retention time on the boiling temperature of studied organic compounds is of rectilinear character.
