On the prospects of Rahimli area oil-gas content of north-north-west part of Lower Kura depression based on gravimetric data

HasanovThe paper presents the results of high precision gravity survey conducted in 1996–1998 while researching Rahimli and adjacent to it areas located at north-north-west part of Lower Kura depression. The geological character of local maximums in observed on gravity field is analyzed. A scheme of characteristic gravity minimums related to the oil-gas content in investigated area is developed, the recommendations on further direction of exploration surveys given.
