Amyl esters have been synthesized in the presence of the ZnO catalyst based on the synthetic oxy-, petroleum acids and the mixture of both acids synthesized by oxidation of naphthenic-paraffinic concentrate, separated from the diesel fraction of Balakhany oil boiling at the temperature of 220–340 oC. The physical-chemical indicators of synthesized synthetic petroleum acids and their amyl esters have been defined, material balance of esters shown, compatibility of amyl esters in the polyvinychloride investigated and the experiments for the improvement of thermo-oxidative stability in diesel fuel conducted.
