The comparative study of Darwin kupesi and Absheron field commercial oils and rational refining ways of Absheron oil
N.G. AlekperovaThe paper studies the physical-chemical characteristics of oils and performance properties of the products extracted from these oils. As a result of the study it has been found that both oils are heavy, sweat, low-sulfur, low and high paraffinic. Gasoline fractions derived from these oils can be used as a component of gasoline, and to produce various solvents. Light kerosene and diesel fractions are a good raw material for different brands of jet and diesel fuels. From the residuals of higher than 500 oC, obtained from Absheron commercial oil, road and construction bitumen are obtained, from the same residual of oil from Darwin kupesi bitumen can be obtained. Taking into account the above-mentioned, co-processing of these oils by the fuel-oil scheme is recommended.
