The assessment of saturation of well-space restored formations in exploitation wells
Kh.B. AghayevWhile well drilling in case when hydrostatic pressure formed during clay mud delivery exceeds the formation pressure, the permeability zone appears in well-space formations. The diameter of this zone is within few meters. In many cases, the depth of geophysical well logging methods does not exceed the diameter of permeability zone. To that end, the study of oil saturation in such formations is not possible. When few months or years passed after the running of casing string, these zones take on their initial properties and only then these intervals’ oil saturation may be estimated according to impulse neutron-neutron logging and additional oil saturated formation is defined.
