Intensification of dynamic process of oil emulsion sedimentation

A new method for intensification of oil preparation process creating vibration regime in sedimentation units by influencing the mechanism installed on the discharge line of settler has been developed. The vibration movements promote the destruction of secure covers and coalescence of emulsified water drops and their intensive coalescence, which leads to the destruction of intermediate emulsion layer and prevents flooding of settling unit. Depending on the oil emulsion consumption, its water content, residual water content in dehydrated oil, an algorithm is offered and the management system of oil-water phase division level developed.
