The paper deals with the hydrotreating process of straight run diesel using natural halloysites nanotubes as catalysts and their samples modified with Ni and Co oxides. The phase and element composition, as well as thermic properties of initial halloysites and their samples modified with Ni and Co oxides were studied via X-ray-diffractometric, X-ray- fluorescent microscopic, electronic paramagnetic resonance and thermogravimetric methods.
