Compositional analysis of associated gases from Guneshly field and the ways of their effective treating from СО2 and Н2С

The paper deals with the chemical composition of associated gases from the wells of 28 May Oil and Gas Production Department (OGPD) and “Chirag-1” platform, as well as the ways of their treatment from СО2 and Н2S. It is shown that the content of carbon dioxide in the composition of the associated gases from these oil-gas fields is higher for several times than in gases from other fields in the territory of Caspian Sea Azerbaijan sector. There was observed a dramatically increase of carbon dioxide content in the composition of associated gases within a definite period. This phenomenon reasons, as well as the ways of extraction of СО2 and Н2S from the composition of associated gases were defined. As an efficient absorbent was offered one based on the diethanolamine.
