Some features of tectonic structure of Ajinour supposed oil-gas bearing region
S.A. AlekperovaAccording to the results of geological-geophysical research conducted in Ajinour region, it is supposed that Upper Cretaceous and Paleogene-Lower Miocene sediments participate in the structure of deep faults. Therefore, one can expect that geologically active mass did not participate in the formation of old age faults. The linearity of the faults is justified one more time by above-mentioned condition. The analysis of geological-geophysical and scientific-research surveys indicate to that Ajinour supposed oil-gas bearing region was formed in Early Miocene and Anthropogenic ages and locating between southern branch of Great Caucasus and northern part of Kura depression is considered as the separate tectonic element.
