Energy efficiency in oil production and the ways of its increase

The paper deals with the main promising directions of energy efficiency measures for SOCAR oil-gas producing enterprises using world experience. On the example of “Azneft” PU, the materials on energy efficient measures carried out in some spheres over the last years are presented, the atmospheric emissions of greenhouse carbon dioxide in the result of energy saving calculated. The reasonability of planning energy efficient measures and forecasting possible energy saving in SOCAR is shown.
