Oil and gas potential of Pre-Jurassic complex of Buzachian arch

KaramurzayevaThe article deals with the regional tectonic features of Buzachian arch and adjacent areas, describes structural-tectonic features of Paleozoic basement, Permian-Triassic transitional sequence and platform cover. Within the Buzachian arch is defined a disconformity of Lower Triassic, and on the eroded surface Lower Permian sediments. According to the drilling and direct geophysical methods data, the oil-gas prospects of Pre-Jurassic sediments have been estimated and the order of geophysical surveys on identification of hydrocarbon formation emission and geological exploration defined.
