Sidetracking and the method of well completion via 127 mm filter
N.M. HajiyevTechnical characteristics and quality indexes of bicentric PDC drill bit of Bicentric Drill product series with steel body have been developed. The bit was designed for simultaneous underreaming of vertical and directional oil-gas wells in the medium hard rocks with interlayers and simultaneous underreaming of borehole with water or clay mud washout. The lack of moving parts in the reamer eliminates the possibility of their sticking in the well borehole. While sidetracking with of PDC bit, not only the acceleration in the rate of penetration raised, but also the number of drill runs remarkably reduced, which, in its turn, allowed saving time on well drilling.
