The prospects of further development of oil deposit in Maikop suite III horizon in Umbaki gas-oil field
V.V. HasanovaThe status of development of oil deposit in main object – III horizon of Maikop suite has been analyzed. Based on the actual geological-field data it was defined that since 1954 the oil production was intensively reducing mainly due to the decommission of a raw of high rate wells, operated on the high gas factor. Besides, despite the high lithological heterogeneity and low values of horizon reservoir parameters, the deposit development was carried out with the sharp sparsity of well network. For extraction of residual oil reserves, we suggest new wells drilling in the areas with more sparsity of well network and sidetracking in old decommissioned wells.
