Research aspects of gas wells in underground gas storages

MustafayevThe paper studies certain differential peculiarities of methods of study gas wells in underground gas storages (UGS) in set regimes compared to the analogue research methods of net gas and gas-condensate fields. Besides definable parameters according to the results of gas field wells research, it is also necessary to specify the injection capacity of UGS gas wells and a andb rate values during gas injection in UGS. These rates sharply distinguish from a andb rate values obtained based on research results in gas development process from the storage. It is shown that the definition accuracy of formation pressure average value is of great importance, therefore at the end of gas injection into the storage this rate is used as UGS reliability criterion (formation bedding on the ground surface). Otherwise, UGS may fail and the gas reserves release to the atmosphere. Distinguishing features of UGS and net gas and gas-condensate fields are presented. As an example was studied the well No 450, indicator diagram developed and a andb rate values while gas injection into the storage defined.
