Tool for creation of gravel pack in wire filters
L.G. HajikarimovaAmong varieties of sand control methods, the order of gravel injection in the filter downstream zone is of great importance for efficient operation of filters. For this purpose, generally various gravel placement schemes are used. Gravel placement and its equal distribution in filter downstream zone, i.e. along the whole length of annular space of filter is one of the major issues. Currently used tools of grave placement (crossover) are characterized with a range of shortcomings. Considering these disadvantages is developed a more reliable construction steady against different deformation and abrasive wear. Creating a thick gravel layer in the filter downstream medium for prevention of formation sand entry and provision of filter lifting was selected well No 133 in Buzovna-Mashtagha field. After the measure conducted, the overhaul period of well operation increased 2.5-3 times and additionally 240 t of oil was produced.
