The software for calculation of casing centering, amount of centralizers and the distance among them

In the process of well construction, one of the major factors affecting the quality of isolation works (cementing) of casing is its centralizing adjustment towards the axis of borehole. It is necessary to note that poor cementing is the reason for large complications in the construction process and the economic losses. In the accordance with this and based on current standard-directive documents has been developed a software enabling to perform calculations and give recommendations on the casing centralizing towards the axis of borehole. Developed software has been applied in the “Complex drilling works” Trust, while drilling wells in Garadagh and Pirallahy fields and delivered together with the guideline for application by mentioned organization.
