Corrosion protection of offshore hydrotechnical facilities operated in aggressive conditions remains essential. Considering importance of current issue, aluminum-based galvanic anode has been developed for protection of submerged parts of bearing units in offshore hydrotechnical facilities from electrochemical corrosion. In anode production was used A85 mark alloy and optimum compositions selected, as well as the geometric calculations carried out. Besides the usage of alloyed components, the mass fraction of mixtures negatively affecting the tension reproduction was reduced. New anodes have been manufactured from steel arrays with certain outputs and vacuums.
