The influence of adsorbent characteristics on the division and washing of chromatographic hydrocarbon bands

The paper studies the influence of adsorbent pore diameter and flow rate of gas-carrier on the efficiency of columns operation and washing of chromatography bands of separated components in vapor-phase chromatography. The optimum diameters of grains prepared from the natural zeolite for various adsorbents have been defined. Obtained data justified that the efficiency of columns in vapor-phase, as well as the adsorption and gas-liquid chromatography are defined by average diameter value, depth of adsorbent pores, size of carried grains and by the character of used adsorbent and column temperature.
