Large-scale exploration surveys conducted in Mangyshlak at the end of 1970’s, 1980’s and in the beginning of 1990’s, led to the series of discoveries of many oil-gas deposits with proven productivity in Triassic sediments. Within Peschanomysk-Rakushechnaya uplift zone, Jhetybai-Uzen stage and Karaginskaya saddle in various years were discovered the following deposits: Rakushechnoe, Oymasha, South Jhetybai, Tasbulat, Pridorojhnoe, North Akbar, North Karagiye, Alatube, Ashiagar, Atambai-Sartube, etc. However, in many squares during testing of potential productive reservoirs according geophysical well logging data were obtained weak oil-gas flows. Complex research works were carried out and major criterions for reservoir perforation of complex-structured Triassic productive deposits developed.
