It is known that development of indicator diagrams of sucker-rod pump oil wells, their operation mode change traditionally several times, i.e. n and S, that cause complications. In traditional method the well operation necessarily stops, losses in oil and gas production take place, in the well with intensive sand production, pump plunger is wedged in the pump cylinder and when the well starts, the stem breaks, etc. The technology of change operation mode of these wells via suggested new method requires the following measures conducting consistently: the liquid with certain constant flow rate is added to the annular space; in each operation mode, liquid level and well flow rate are measured. Indicator diagrams are developed according to the obtained results. From first developed indicator diagram via graphical method, potential oil production rate is defined, for which this diagram lasts to the crossing of ordinate axes (flowrates). Considering this production parameter, new optimum technological operation mode of the well is defined, i.e. acceptable bottom-hole pressure, depression and the limit of well flowrate, specified. In case when oil well is flooded, first, produced water are isolated via hydrodynamic method, and then a new technological operation mode is specified.
