Appliance of bactericide-inhibitors for inner corrosion protection of gas pipelines
F.G. VeliyevThe reasons for internal corrosion in gas pipelines of gas-compressor station of low pressure of “28 May” OGPD gas-lift compressor station on the platform No 4 have been identified. It was justified that aggressive components (Н2S, О2, СО2) and microorganisms in gas and condensate content are the reasons for pipelines internal corrosion. The possibilities of appliance of inhibitor-bactericides for corrosion protection of pipelines have been studied and shown that synthesized inhibitor-bactericides have high degree of corrosion prevention in researched object. It was identified that the additive of certain concentration (60-100 mg/l) inhibitor leads to the sharp decrease of corrosion rate. Protection effect of obtained inhibitor in hydrogen-sulfide and microbiological corrosion types in the concentration of 100 mg/l comprises 96-98 % and 100 % correspondingly.
