Oil-gas bearing capacity criterion of Shamakhy-Gobustan oil-gas bearing region
V.T. FatullayevThe paper studies oil-gas bearing prospects of Shamakhy-Gobustan oil-gas bearing region. Briefly analyzing the features of structural-tectonic aspects in the terms of the areas Shargi, Sundi, Nardaranakhtarma, Nardaran-Suleyman, located at the central part of the oil-gas bearing region, the authors lean towards the meaning that apart from lateral and strike slip, as well as vertical tectonic movements played the main role in the formation of oil-gas bearing structures of Shamakhy-Gobustan oil-gas bearing region. It is supposed that oil-gas bearing region includes a belt of three anticlinal structures by lithofacies change.
