Study genesis of Productive Series sediments (in the terms of Binagadi and Balakhany fields)

KerimovaRecently, in the view of prospecting and exploration acceleration, as well as estimation of their oil and gas bearing capacity prospects of researched area, genesis study of Productive Series is of great interest. The paper reviews the issue of genetic models estimation of sedimentary rocks based on production well logging. As a subject of research, Productive Series suites in the section of wells in Binagadi and Balakhany fields of Absheron oil and gas bearing region were selected. Based on field-geological data on Binagadi and Balakhany structures, using quantity models of logging facies, lithofacies analysis of sedimentary rocks was carried out, their genesis specified and the results of these research works presented. The maps with equal series of flow, barrier genesis and coastline shallow facies in Productive Series suites across Binagadi and Balakhany structures and 3D space models of facies change along the structures developed.
