Depositional environment and lithologic-geochemical peculiarities of Miocene deposits in Pirallahy field of Absheron archipelago
L.F. ShikhovaDetailed analysis of lithologic features of Miocene sediments in Pirallahy field has been carried out. As a result of various geochemical relationship values interpretation, mineralogical composition and structural-textural properties of 54 core samples rocks have been conducted, as well as microfaunal analysis, conclusions about depositional environment of Sarmatian and Maikopian sediments made. The comparison of lithologic characteristics and values of geochemical relationships of Sr/Ba, Fe/Mn, Na/K, and Na/Ca on studied region with Miocene sediments of Absheron and Shamakhy-Gobustan areas has been conducted.
