Study efficiency of additive packages added to the base oil from Baku petroleum

The paper presents the results of PA 2600 additive package selection to M-8 base motor oil from Baku petroleum, in combination with ДФ-11к viscosity additive and ССК-400 D. The thermal oxidative stability of obtained thickened oil of 15W-40 type is studied. Adding a viscous additive to the base oil increases the viscosity index  30 units, for further improvement of additives package PA 2600 and the addition of high alkaline calcium sulfonate based on dialkylbenzene sulfonic acid ССК-400 D with the addition of a viscous additive (England). A sample of season oil is obtained, with a large margin of satisfying the requirements of the standard for oil type 15W-40 (SD/CD).
