On industrial estimation of thermal waters in Azerbaijan Republic

SalahovIndustrial thermal waters in the territory of Azerbaijan Republic are generally distributed in Absheron (Surakhany), Kura depression (Neftchala), Nakhchivan AR (Darydagh) and other regions. The paper provides the content of industrial thermal waters with concentrations of iodine, brome, borium and other elements in their composition. It is noted that various regions have prospects for obtaining valuable elements from industrial thermal waters. For instance, thermal waters of Darydagh sediments may be used for obtaining arsene. Thermal waters can be also used in different spheres of economy, thus, for this purpose it is necessary to expand hydrogeological studies across the country.
