The paper provides the results of researches on aromatic hydrocarbons via UV-spectroscopy in Absheron deposit oil and its 50 0C fractions. It is shown that monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons predominate over bicyclic, which, in their turn, predominate over tricyclic ones. Absheron deposit oil is of heavy, sweat, less paraffinic, naphthenic-paraffin basis. The amount of aromatic hydrocarbons in the fractions up to 300 0C increases, and from 300 0C to 500 0C (except from 400-450 0C) reduces.
