Currently, Azerbaijan produces a huge amount of oil from deposits localized in sandy-aleuritic packages of Paleocene, clay-sandy-marlets of the Eocene, Maikop sandy-argillaceous suite, a sandy-aleuric pack of Cokrak horizon, sandy-argillaceous deposits of Sarmatian stage and especially Productive Series of Pliocene. These oils have a wide range of ore elements - Mg, Ti, Fe, Cu, V, Ni, Co, Cr, Mn, Zn, Pb, Ag, Au, Ba, Ga, Ge, Cd, Sn, Zr, Be, etc. At the same time, average Fe, Ni, Sr, Cr, Ba, Mn and Cu contents for individual deposits, Oil-Gas Production Departments and across the country in whole are much higher than clark. Thus, a large number of valuable metals in the composition of fuel lubricants is discarded. Already in some developed countries, V, Ni, Hg, Mo, Ca, Co and other metals are obtained from oil. Associated obtaining of valuable metals from Azerbaijan oils has great prospects in the further development of Republic economy.
