Stiffness study of bottomhole assembly in drilling deviated and wells with horizontal wellbore

The paper studies the main sorts of vibrations in well drilling, the reasons for their occurrence, signs of showing and the complications appearing in consequence as well. The scheme of bottomhole assembly used in the drilling of deviated and the wells with horizontal wellbore is presented, the stiffness of drilling string studied, and optimum conditions for increase its stability justified. The systems of functional specifications for insurance of drilling string stiffness based on the optimization criterion are identified. Implementation of developed method justifies the efficiency of drilling string stiffness insurance and can be successfully used in the drilling.
