Numerous studies have shown that together with the volumetric properties of reservoir rocks, physical properties of oil, gas and produced water, physical properties of boundary layers between contacting components or phases has a particular significance in the principal processes occurring in the oil industry. Surface phenomena plays a special role. The paper studies surface forces acting between the phases, as the oil and water. The practice shows that surface tension for oils is within high values. The influence of pressure and temperature on surface tension has been researched.
