Hydrotreating catalysts

In the review article, the data concerning the issues of hydrotreating catalysts published in both scientific and technical literature and patents is summarized and analyzed as well. It is shown that the efficiency of hydrotreating catalysts is defined both by their chemical composition and structure, and by the methods of preparation and activation. It was identified that such a significant progress in hydrotreating process of various types of petroleum raw materials has been achieved within the framework of the same universal catalyst composition Ni-(Co)-Mo-S/Al2O3.
