Increasing the density of threaded connections of pipes used in oil industry
G.S. AbdullayevPolyethylene rings are rarely used in pipe connections for thread density. The reason for this is the fact that setting polyethylene rings inside the sleeve causes some complications. Groove opening in threaded pipe connections and setting polyethylene rings in these parts prevent potential problems. Laboratory tests justified that setting two or more polyethylene rings in open grooves of protective pipe provides the density of threaded connections in 70-80 MPa pressure.
