Corrosion protection of screwed fittings using compositions based on local raw materials

The paper deals with the development of new plastic compositions for corrosion protection of screwed fittings in production string. For obtaining this composition, bitumen, technical hydrogenated fat, heavy gasoil, bactericide-inhibitor and as fillers natural bitumen containing sand and clay were used. Field tests of new plastic composition were conducted in OGPD named after H.Z. Taghiyev in the well No.1294.
