Methods of control of asphalt-resin-paraffin sediments formation during oil wells operation
O.D. IsmailovOne of the wide-spread complications in exploration and operation of oil fields is the formation of asphalt-resin-paraffin sediments (ARPS) in reservoir, bottomhole, bottomhole assembly and service equipment. Formation of ARPS particularly in the inner surface of bottomhole assembly negatively affects the oil well production rate. However, despite a large number of scientific-research surveys and efficient methods offered in this direction, the issue keeps its urgency for long years. Existing mechanical, chemical-thermic and physical methods of prevention and elimination of ARPS from oil field equipment offered by various researchers have been analyzed and the results of application and comparison analysis of them provided.
