It is known that while drilling of deviated and horizontal wells with hydraulic bottomhole motor, various complications with poor quality of borehole cleaning occur. It is explained with the fact that in the sliding mode, bottomhole assembly lies on the lower wall of the well, which leads to the bed formation. The paper presents theoretical investigations of lower wall deformation considering contact factors and the recommendations on improvement of wellbore cleaning given.
