Base lubricating oil purified traditionally from Baku oils, by its main parameters excluding viscosity index corresponds to the foreign oils. Besides, it was defined that selecting qualitative additive package to the sample obtained from Balakhany oil makes it not worse from its analogues by antioxidizing parameters (the amount of sediments in the oil after 30 hours oxidizing at 200 °C is equal to 0.11–0.15 %). Saturated hydrocarbons in purified base oil is 91–92, sulfur – 0.04, soot – 0.05 %, acid number – 0.01 mg KOH/g, oil color – 1.5-2 units without ash. Base oil was obtained from Balakhany petroleum with traditional purification. Alongside with PA-2600 additive package of Belarus Republic production, a thickening additive was selected as well. It was defined that SАЕ 15 W-40 corresponds to the seasonal motor oils of API SE/CC type by oil parameters.
