The major research development trends in fixed offshore platforms jacket yielding calculations

I.G.Huseynov

The fixed offshore platforms (FOP) jackets resistibility decreases due to permanent influence. The majority of such influences have a casual nature. In this connection, it is very important to conduct the FOP loading capacity studies and accordingly to provide its toughness. The FOP damage and destruction reasons analysis shows that on modern stage of the offshore hydrotechnical designing and construction science development, alongside with the close examinations and all-round account of the hydrodynamic factor influence on their stability and toughness, it is required to carry out theoretical and experimental studies on hydrostatic and hydrodynamic loads determination under influence of which in constructive element of the platforms appear the internal efforts. This is a necessary recommendation for development on the further revision of the FOP calculation methods on different types of loads. As a result of analysis defect existing version of the destruction full tilt, on the basis of mathematical device to theories limiting tense-deformed conditions and kinetic theory of the destruction, is offered mathematical model of the construction material behavior with extended thermodynamic conditions. This model has been applied on work in creation of hardware program complex for structure condition diagnostics and reliability forecasting. Herewith, the main purpose is the consideration of tower type FOP jackets structure and its separate details deformation conditions change in jacket falling calculations. In calculations the structure displacement rigidity is taken into consideration. In general, equivalent voltages appeared in structure details are defined via known methods of the material resistance and construction mechanics theory. Much attention was given to the periodic loads calculations. The periodic loads simplest examples are the periodic and harmonic loads.
