Usage of gas-fluid systems in water cut control
M.I. AhmadovThe generalized analysis of study results on the mech¬anisms of prediction and limitation of reservoir and well drowning using gas-fluid systems has been conducted. Herewith, major physical-chemical properties of foams widely used in oil production have been reviewed, the re¬sults of carried out experimental researches on the fea¬tures on foam formation in porous medium analyzed. The results of conducted rheological studies on foams with various stabilizing agents have been considered as well. The methodology of technology regulation of produced water motion with foam, well selection, necessary complex of well surveys, as well as the calculation of foam injection into the reservoir have been described.
